About Us

Who we are?

North Devon Travel Clinic was founded in 2019 by local husband and wife team Kelvyn Evans and Gemma Heard. We noted that GP surgeries are increasingly not providing travel health services and that our population has been having to travel to Exeter or further afield. We wanted to set up a friendly, knowledgeable local clinic to serve our population here in North Devon.

After moving to the locality in 2009, Kelvyn has been running his own podiatry business from the Tarka Clinic and has become the proprietor of the Tarka Clinic as well. Gemma is a local GP in her current practice since 2012 and has been a practicing doctor since 2003. Kelvyn is the manager of the clinic, whilst Gemma has the clinical expertise and a love of travel.
