RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus)
Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a common cause of coughs and colds. RSV infections usually get better by themselves, but can sometimes be serious for babies and older adults.
There is now a vaccination for RSV which helps reduce the risk of it causing serious problems such as pneumonia and bronchiolitis. This is available on the NHS to those between 75 and 79 years old and also to pregnant women. However it is licensed for anyone over the age of 60. One dose is thought to give protection for at least 2 years but the need for booster doses has yet to be established. We have the Pfizer Abrysvo vaccine available for our clients.
Schedule:- Once Dose.
- Our vaccinations are all chargeable. We do not have any available through the NHS.
