Cancellation and No Show Policy

To provide the best care for all patients and maintain an efficient schedule, we ask that you respect our appointment policy.

Appointment Cancellations

We kindly request at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

  • Cancellations made with proper notice: No charge
  • Late cancellations (less than 48 hours): We reserve the right to charge the booking fee if 1st appointment.
  • Same-day cancellations: Booking fee or £20

Missed Appointments (No-Shows)

Patients who miss an appointment without notice will be charged a no-show fee of £20 or the booking fee, whichever is the greater.

Why This Policy Exists

Missed appointments prevent us from offering that time to other patients who may need care. This policy helps us operate fairly and efficiently.

Emergencies & Exceptions

We understand that unexpected situations arise. Fees may be waived at the clinic’s discretion for:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Severe illness
  • Unforeseen urgent circumstances

Repeated Cancellations or No-Shows

Multiple late cancellations or missed appointments (2 or more) may result in:

  • Requirement of a deposit for future visits
  • Limited scheduling privileges
  • Possible discharge from the practice

Deposits (If Applicable)

Certain appointments may require a deposit amount, which will be forfeited in the event of a late cancellation or no-show.  If a deposit is required and cannot be taken at the time of booking it will need to be paid within 48 hours or else your appointment will be cancelled.
